As a Senior Photographer in Austin, Texas, there is just something about early mornings on South Congress (aka SoCo). The city hasn’t quite woken up yet, the light is soft, the coffee shops are opening their doors, and there’s a buzz of possibility in the air.
It was the perfect setting for kicking off the year with some of my 2026 Jaclyn May Senior Team girlies.
These six sweet girls showed up ready to have fun and instantly clicked like they’d been friends forever – one of the many reasons I love having a Senior Team, they get to meet so many new friends from different schools or even the same school that they wouldn’t have otherwise!
Dressed in bold & bright colors and their own unique styles, they brought the perfect mix of charm, confidence, and Texas flair. Some rocked white cowgirl boots, others leaned into trendy, flirty florals — think Free People meets Love Shack Fancy!
We wandered up and down SoCo, stopping at all the iconic spots — Hotel San Jose, the Austin Motel, colorful murals, and cozy storefronts. And let me tell you: these girls owned SoCo – like people cheering them on from the sidewalk owned it!

What Made This Senior Rep Session So Special…
