Hey Ya'll!
I'm also a proud Army veteran wife, mom of 2 + Believer. I love getting to provide the ultimate experience to each of my clients & photos that capture who they are! Read my story
Let’s be honest—booking senior photos is a big deal. It’s one of the final milestones of high school, and as a mom, you want to be sure it’s handled with heart. As an Austin Senior Photographer, I know this season is so special, but it can also feel overwhelming if you don’t know what to expect.
That’s why I’ve rounded up the top 10 most-asked questions I get from seniors and their parents—so you can feel prepared, excited, and totally at ease heading into your session. Because around here? We’re all about fun, personalized, and stress-free senior photography experiences.
The earlier, the better! Most families book 3–6 months in advance to secure their ideal season and date. Fall and spring sessions fill up quickly, especially in Liberty Hill and Georgetown where golden hour is extra magical.
Want dreamy lighting and less stress around yearbook deadlines? Reach out sooner rather than later!
This is probably the most common question I get—and I’ve got you covered. I recommend bringing 2–5 outfits (depending on which session you book) that reflect different sides of your personality: think one casual, one dressy, and one fun! Be sure to include COLOR – it adds variety to your photos!
✨BONUS: When you book with me, you’ll receive my exclusive style guide to help you (and mom!) choose outfits that photograph beautifully. Need help coordinating colors? I’ll walk you through it all during our styling FaceTime call to ensure you don’t feel overwhelmed.
Let’s face it—choosing what to wear for your senior photos can feel like a lot. You want to look and feel your best, but you also want outfits that photograph beautifully.

100% yes. Whether it’s your cheer uniform, football, college flag, guitar or your pup (or your cow!)—your session is all about you. I love helping seniors highlight the things they love in photos they’ll treasure forever.
My senior sessions are either 1 or 2-hour sessions. The 2-hour sessions especially gives us plenty of time for outfit changes, location variety, and all the spontaneous laughs and twirls in between and is by far my most popular session!
This isn’t a rushed shoot—it’s a fun experience, and I’ll guide you through every step so it feels totally natural!
I scout and suggest the best spots in Liberty Hill, Austin, and Georgetown. Whether you love wildflower fields, open skies, or downtown ATX, I’ve got options that match your vibe. I’ll help narrow it down based on your personality and style so it feels like you!
Of course! I always welcome moms, dads, siblings—whoever helps you feel comfortable and celebrated. Most moms love being there to help behind the scenes (and maybe shed a few happy tears). And sometimes, we even grab a sweet mom-and-senior shot (or the whole family!).
This is SO normal—and honestly, most of my seniors feel this way at first! But here’s the thing: it’s my job to help you feel relaxed and confident. I gently guide you with natural posing, we laugh a lot, and within 10 minutes, you’ll forget the camera is even there.
You don’t have to “know what to do”—that’s what I’m here for. This is meant to be fun, not stiff or awkward.
I know you’re excited—and I am too! I post a sneak peek within one week of your session so you get a quick glimpse of the magic. Then, your full gallery will be ready within 2–3 weeks.
From there, you can easily download digital files and offer ordering of high-quality prints, wall art, or custom albums. I personally design all printed products to ensure they match your senior’s style and your family’s home—and the entire process is seamless and stress-free. No figuring things out on your own. I’m here for you from start to finish.
My sessions are warm, personal, and joy-filled. I believe in slowing down, soaking up the moment, and celebrating this once-in-a-lifetime milestone. I create a space where seniors can truly be themselves—and where moms can breathe and enjoy the experience too.
This isn’t just about photos. It’s about making memories with your senior in one of the most special seasons of life.
Let’s turn this milestone into something unforgettable. I would love to be your Austin Senior Photographer! I’m currently booking senior photo sessions in Liberty Hill, Georgetown, and Austin, Texas.
