Hey Ya'll!
I'm also a proud Army veteran wife, mom of 2 + Believer. I love getting to provide the ultimate experience to each of my clients & photos that capture who they are! Read my story
As a Senior Photographer in Liberty Hill, there’s something unforgettable about spring in Texas—especially when it’s prom season and the sun decides to show off just in time for your photo session after multiple down pours of rain all day! I had the absolute joy of photographing seven Liberty Hill High School juniors and seniors at the Overlook Park at Georgetown Lake, and let me tell you… this crew was SO fun to photograph!
After raining on and off all day (even minutes before they arrived to Overlook Park!), the sky finally cleared and made for a beautiful golden hour prom session – straight out of a Free People editorial. The girls arrived in dreamy gowns with pastel bouquets in hand & bows tied on them with “Prom” and their initials on the ends—a detail I officially want to make a THING for every senior session moving forward. I mean… a monogrammed bow moment?! Yes, please!!
The energy of this group was something really special. These girls—best friends who laugh like sisters—were so effortlessly kind, fun, and full of grace. Each of them had their own unique style, yet they complemented each other perfectly. You could tell this was a night they’d been looking forward to for a long time, and they were having so much fun together!
And don’t even get me started on the guys. Texas prom at its finest: boots, jeans, belt buckles, cowboy hats, and Ray-Bans—straight out of a southern prom magazine, if there were such a thing! They were polite, respectful, and all-in for the photos, which, let’s be honest, always scores extra points with this photographer & is not always the case with teenage guys – it’s always my goal to make photos fun for them because I know they don’t always love them, but this crew made that easy for me!
We captured everything from group shots to golden hour portraits to those little details like the monogrammed bows!
I kept thinking to myself: this is why I do what I do. These are the kind of memories that last a lifetime, the kind that end up framed on the mantle, in college dorm rooms, and (eventually) in wedding day slideshows (mommas reading this – I know that is crazy to think about!!)

I just want to say THANK YOU.
Thank you for showing up with the biggest smiles. Thank you for letting me be part of your celebration and for trusting me to capture your friendship on such a big night! You were each so effortlessly you, and that made my job not only easy but so much fun!
To the girls: your confidence radiated from the moment you stepped in front of my camera. You made prom night look STUNNING —and you did it with grace, laughter, and your best friends by your side. I’ll be cheering you on for your senior year, and I already can’t wait to see what’s next for our graduate!
To the guys: y’all were total gentlemen, and I so appreciate how game you were for all the photos. You brought that Texas charm, and it showed.
I’m so honored to have been a small part of such a big night & hope you had the absolute best time at the Liberty Hill High School Prom!
xoxo,
Jaclyn May
