A Sparkling 4th of July with the Jaclyn May Senior Team! 🇺🇸
Happy Independence Day! I’m beyond excited to share the most epic 4th of July photoshoot we just had with the Jaclyn May Senior Team in Georgetown, Texas!
 If you’re into fireworks, fun, freedom and capturing those picture-perfect moments with your besties, you’re going to love this!
Red, White, and BOOM! đź’Ą
Our shoot kicked off with an explosion of fun at a local fireworks stand, American Fireworks right off of Highway 29. If you are near Georgetown, this stand is LOADED with fireworks for the 4th & is a must-stop!
Picture this: vibrant fireworks as the backdrop, the sun is setting, and the Jaclyn May Senior Team girls are ready to rock! They were all dressed in their best red, white, and blue outfits – think stars, stripes, and lots cute cowgirl boots with ribbons tied around the boot loops. 💙❤️🤍
Typically, I create a Pinterest board for the Senior Team to go off, but for this shoot I told them my vision and to where red, white and blue knowing these girls were going to crush their wardrobe styling… and they did! ✅
We started with some individual shots in front of the fireworks stand. The colorful boxes and banners made for the perfect backdrop, adding a playful vibe to each photo. You know those shots where you can literally feel the happiness jumping off the screen? Yep, that’s what we got!
JMP Senior Team = Friendship + Community
But what’s a photoshoot without some candid moments? After nailing those individual shots, it was time for the real fun – group shots! The Jaclyn May Senior Team is all about creating and celebrating community! ❤️
When I created the JMP Senior Team, my goal was for the team to be more than just great senior photos and group shoots, but a group of thriving rising juniors who would become close friends and build a community.
The JMP Senior Team has girls from several different schools, meaning they get to make friends with girls who they probably wouldn’t of met before. It is SO incredible to see how much these girls support each other, they have become each other’s #1 fans and true friends.
Fields of Freedom 🇺🇸
Now, let’s talk about the field shots. We found this stunning open field with tall grass gently swaying in the breeze – it was like a scene from a country song with the sun setting behind the girls.
I brought a long a big American flag, 🇺🇸which was the flag my husband, a veteran Army Ranger from 3rd Battalion, carried with him during all 4 of his deployments to Afghanistan. Pretty special, right?
The field photos were filled with piggyback rides, group hugs, and lots of laughing!
The candid shots were pure gold. There’s something so special about capturing those unplanned moments – the genuine laughter and friendship among these girls. These are the photos that really tell the story of the day and the friendships that make high school and the Jaclyn May Senior Team so unforgettable.
Before the sun fully disappeared behind the trees, I had the girls running through the field, the flag billowing behind them, and it was pure magic. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow over everything. It was one of those moments where you just have to stop and soak it all in.
The photos turned out so dreamy – like a perfect blend of Americana and freedom! This session truly was fireworks, friends and forever memories!
