MEGAN’S SENIOR PHOTOS IN AUSTIN I CLASS OF 2024

Megan was so much fun to work with for her Austin Senior Photos! She wanted her senior session to be in spring to capture all of the beauty that Texas spring has to offer, especially the Texas wildflowers – which we were sure to make happen!

We started her session in a local field to give her the cowgirl vibe she was going for, with some flowers added in (flowers are such a versatile prop to bring for senior photos!!). Megan had this incredible black cowgirl hat that really made the entire look come together!

On our way to our next location, some gorgeous wild red poppies caught my eye and I knew we HAD to pull over to take some photos of Megan in this beautiful wild flower patch. (red poppies are seriously so pretty, they are for sure one of my FAVORITE wild flowers). Megan was down for this impromptu stop and the red over her dress against the flowers green stems + the grass and the pop of red of the poppies was incredible – she looked amazing!!

Our final location was an incredible field of purple Texas wildflowers, I’m talking 2+ acres of pops of purple every where! For someone who wanted senior pictures in the Texas wildflowers, she got her wish!! We also added in a few shots of her and her Mom, which is one of my favorite things to do at the end of a senior photo session. It’s crazy to think, but the next time many of my seniors will be having professional photos taken will either be college graduation or their wedding! Crazy right?!

That’s why senior photos are truly so important. For the senior, senior photos represent a huge milestone for the senior and all of their hard work. For the parents, senior photos represent the 18 years they have invested in their incredible child and celebrating them before they start making their way into the “real world.” – Okay, let me put my tissue box away and get back to Megan!
